UFO in the true sence sighted over Pine Gap – Alice Springs Australia 15-07-2009

Sunday, July 26th, 2009

Well, here is a photo of a UFO that was sighted over Pine Gap, Alice Springs Australia on the 15th of July 2009. It is a UFO in its true sense. An Unidentified Flying Object. Remember that it is the U in UFO that stands for unidentified. Crazy people believe they know what these things are. Clouds, birds in formation, gas clouds, aliens, HAARP artefacts and the like. Unidentified is so much more mysterious to me. It is an anomaly as a true scientist would put it. Enjoy.

“Right-Click” the image to save a copy onto your computer then open it with an image editor to zoom in. This is the full sized image.
If you are interested, I have another one that I will post shortly.

ReDownload an iTunes Podacst

Sunday, June 15th, 2008

I’ve had a couple of problems with podcast episodes that partially download. The episode will show as being 50 minutes in the description though only, say, 3 minutes downloads. This has been quite frustrating as a recent episode of the DopeFiends Psychonautica PodCast was a talk by the author Tom Roberts who I happen to have a recent book. So I was really looking forward to hearing him give a talk at the recent World Psychedelic Forum in Switzerland and all that I got was 3 minutes of Max Freakouts introductions…. Not that I mind hearing Max’s beautiful English accent mixed with psychedelic consciousness infusions….it’s just that I wanted to listen to Tom!!!

Sooooo… cut with the psychotalk and up with the technotalk hey!!!

1. Delete the podcast episode in itunes. It will ask you if you want to move the file to the trash.. I answered yes so there was no chance of it getting confused with multiple files of the same name etc etc..
2. Close the little triangle to the left of the Podcast Title.
3. Press and hold down the “option” key and click once the podcast title. Supposedly this make itunes redownload the episode data fresh..
4. Wait a bit…. go on… wait…. don’t be such a modern techno … wait…. maybe even press the “Downloads” link in the left pane and then click back to podcasts again…
5. If the podcast title is not already expanded press the triangle on its left to expand it again and sakurajima… there should be the podcast episode listed again as not downloaded…
6. Press “GET” and re download the episode…
7. your mileage may vary so comment away and I’ll see if I can narrow this communication down a little…

Modern Science? Modern Psudo-Science?

Wednesday, February 20th, 2008

The evolutionary biologist Rupert Sheldrake has a run in with the evangelical Richard Dawkins ganged up with the modern media. This description of Ruperts experience with Richard and the merry band of jugglers and tricksters trying to frame up yet another visionary thinker is laughable. I’m so glad the tricksters are still trying to peddle their wares without realising that the world has moved on from the 16th century…”My lord, how can we stop these heretics believing in psudo-science?”… tee hee
